About me
My name is Caile (like kale the cabbage). I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and have worked in mental health for over 10 years. I specialise in working with adults who feel stuck or feel like things keep getting in the way of what matters most to them.
I tend to be upfront about what matters to me such as inclusivity, curiosity and fairness because I am a values-driven person. I try my best to offer a compassionate, caring and honest space for clients to feel safe enough to explore what is going on in their lives.
I believe you are the expert of your own life. My aim is to help make sense of what is happening and offer a tailored intervention informed by a variety of therapy styles like CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and CFT (compassion-focused therapy).
After working for charities and in the public sector, I know that not everyone is able receive the support they need and deserve in a timely manner, so I set up this practice. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, so well done for getting to this page. Even if you don’t feel like I am the right fit for you, I wish you all the best with your continued search.
